Your health, your terms
- At-home convenience: Test for UTIs, bacterial vaginosis, or thrush quickly and easily - no need to visit a clinic.
- Fast, accurate results: Detect leukocytes and nitrites for UTIs, and identify pH imbalances linked to common vaginal infections.
- Choose your bundle: Pick from a single UTI test pack, a 2-pack vaginal infection test, or a bundle covering both UTI and vaginal infections.
What’s in each kit?
- UTI 3T Pack: Includes 3 test strips to detect leukocytes (LEU) and nitrites (NIT), which indicate a urinary tract infection.
- Vaginal Infection 2-Pack: Includes 2 vaginal swab tests and colour scales to check for pH imbalances associated with bacterial vaginosis or thrush.
- UTI & Vaginal Infection Bundle: Combines tests from both kits for comprehensive monitoring of urinary and reproductive health.
How do the tests work?
UTI Test:
- Collect a urine sample or hold the test strip in your urine stream for 1–2 seconds.
- Blot excess liquid and place the strip on a clean absorbent surface.
- Read results at 1 minute for nitrites and at 2 minutes for leukocytes using the colour chart provided. Do not interpret results after 3 minutes.
Vaginal Infection Test:
- Insert the swab approx. 2 inches into the vagina, rotate for 10 seconds, then remove.
- Swipe the swab on the pH panel at least 5 times to fully coat it.
- Compare the panel colour to the chart while it’s still wet to identify potential infections.
When should I use these tests?
If you’re experiencing symptoms like pain or burning while urinating, cloudy or strong-smelling urine, itching, soreness, or unusual vaginal discharge, these self-tests offer a fast way to get answers. They’re also great for anyone who wants to stay on top of their health, especially if you’re sexually active, using antibiotics, or have a sensitive immune system.
What do the results mean?
UTI Test:
- Positive for LEU or NIT suggests a UTI. Discuss with your GP for confirmation and treatment.
- Negative, but still have symptoms? Follow up with your doctor.
Vaginal Infection Test:
- pH below 3.8 = possible thrush (yeast infection).
- pH between 3.8–4.4 = normal range.
- pH above 4.4 = possible bacterial vaginosis or trichomoniasis.
Should I still see a doctor?
Yes. While these tests offer valuable insight, they are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a GP for diagnosis and treatment, especially if symptoms persist or worsen.
